Taxi-card

Taxi-card is available to people living in the Plymouth area who are dependent on a wheelchair at all times and unable to travel in an ordinary saloon car.

Financed by Plymouth City Council, the scheme is administered by Plymouth Shopmobility & Community Transport who currently offer registered users a 50% refund on taxi fares up to a pre-set quarterly limit.

To register, you complete an application form (available on request) or you can print (Word Doc) from our web site which must be countersigned by your doctor. You will also need to provide a passport size photograph for your ID card.

Claims for refunds are normally met within 10 days.
