Plymouth Shopmobility & Community Transport is a registered charity devoted to helping those people unable to use public transport because of physical or sensory disability. By definition we include the frail elderly, those subject to learning difficulties, mental illness and problems caused by temporary illness or accident, whatever their age.

Our Shopmobility scheme helps people to shop and conduct business in the City Centre. While this service is provided free to our clients we do rely on donations to replace and maintain our wheelchair and scooter fleet.

If you support our objectives, why not become a Member (Friend) of Shopmobility & Community Transport.

A Friend is someone who is interested and keen to ensure the continuance and development of our service. You are kept in touch with the work we do and invited to actively take part in the running of our organisation if you so wish.

We also hope you will assist us by:-

• ‘Spreading the word’ & letting others know about the services we offer.

• Encouraging others to choose Plymouth Shopmobility & Community Transport as the beneficiary of community events and other funding.

• Helping with fundraising events like coffee mornings, table sales etc....

Friends also receive our regular newsletter.
