Shopmobility Volunteers
Hours: Hours flexible as agreed (Mon – Sat)
Duties:
Reception
Dealing with clients in a courteous and friendly manner.
Referring clients to relevant members of staff if unable to deal with a
situation.
Answering Shopmobility phone and dealing with Shopmobility bookings / enquiries
etc.
Assisting clients with completion of registration forms.
Completing equipment issue cards and carrying out other procedures applicable to
equipment hire.
Receiving and securing customer deposits.
Collecting relevant scooter or wheelchair from garage and advising client on use
as necessary.
Returning equipment to garage after return and de-brief by client.
Assisting in Lounge and Coffee Bar
Help serve teas, coffees etc.
Handling cash.
Dealing with clients in a courteous and friendly manner.
Keeping Kitchen area clean and tidy.
Be aware of relevant Hygiene instructions.
Other duties as agreed including :-
Ring & Ride and / or Community Car telephone bookings, general office
duties.
Assist with fund raising activities.
